Are you waiting for your twin so that you can be truly happy?

So many twins believe that once they meet their twin and know how blissful the love between them is, that their lasting happiness depends on one day having a relationship or coming into Union with them. That if it doesn’t happen, they can never be truly happy.

The problem with this perspective is that it makes you dependent on your twin. Even though your twin is your exact same energy and therefore, your very best complement, the Universe wants you to understand that you cannot be dependent on anyone for your inner wellbeing and lasting happiness. It is simply not the way the Universe operates, and if you cling to this mistaken and self-limiting belief, you will be shown time and time again that you are going in the wrong direction. That this is a lesson you need to learn since it is a block to Union.

Lasting happiness can only come from you. It only depends on you. From your self-love and your connection within, to your Soul and to the Universe.

See, when I finally understood what the Twin Flame Journey is all about, I earnestly committed to doing the necessary inner work to shed negativity accumulated inside me (fears, unhealed trauma, resentment, etc.) and to elevate my energy. As I progressed, this led me to find my own inner happiness.

So I am happy for not being happy about anything in particular. I don’t need good news, exciting events, compliments, etc. to feel happy. Nothing external.

And even though I am in blissful Union with my twin, I can say that it isn’t Union that has brought me lasting happiness either. And he thinks the same way too.

This is very important for us . Because I do not depend on him, nor he on me, for feeling happy. In loving each other, we are completely free and independent. This strengthens our bond so much, since each one doesn’t expect nor demand that the other one makes us happy. And without expectations, there are no disappointments. Each one takes full responsibility for their own happiness, and we then share it with each other, increasing it.

It’s exactly like he once told me:

“It is only in freedom that true love can exist.”

So even if being in Union is wonderful, I feel happy on my own. If my twin were to leave my side, I would be sad for a while but also understanding. The Unconditional Love between us would always be there. And I would already have what is very important, true and lasting happiness and fulfillment.
